Majored in Polish and minored in Russian in Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (1992- 1996).
Studied in Art history (specializing children's book illustration in socialist age) in Poland.

The Master's degree with the thesis "The Art for Children. Polish Children's illustrations in 1960 – 1970" in Jagiellonian University in Cracow (2002), the Doctoral thesis on "Polish School of Illustration" in Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (2008).
Currently working as a lecturer of Polish dept. of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (from
2002) and of Illustration Dept. Graduate School of Design, University of Seoul (from 2005).
One of the 8 curators for picturebook curating site - dPictus.
Translated 69 books into Korean, mostly children's literature and picture books from Polish.
As an editor, collaborating with works with Korean & Polish illustrators; some of those works
got international recognitions "MAUM: The House of Mind" of Iwona Chmielewska (A collaboration work with Korean writer - Heekyung Kim and Polish illustrators), which won 2011 Bologna Ragazzi Award - Nonfiction, "Eyes" by Iwona Chmielewska, which won 2013 Bologna Ragazzi Award - Fiction, "A Lullaby for grandmother" by Iwona Chmielewska, which won 2020 Bologna Ragazzi Award – New Horizon.

Organizer and curator of many events related with children's picturebooks; organized the special exhibitions in Korean collective stands in Bologna (2009, 2010, 2011, 2014, 2014, 2016). Book Art Fairs (Seoul International Book Fair Book Art 2009, Korean Collective Stand in Frankfurt Book Fair in 2009), Illustration exhibition. As an art director and curator of Albus Gallery, the only one specializing in illustration in Seoul, curated; "The Story in Nature. Jozef Wilkon
Illustrations" (2017), "The Picture garden in winter. Joanna Concejo Illustrations" (2018), "The love for Books. Bruno Munari" (2018), "Dick Bruna's miffy since 1955" (2019).

Editor of tactile-braille books for blind children. Edited the first tactile picturebook series for Changbi publishers and first tactile-braille Korean alphabet learning cards for the National Institute of Korean language.
